The Villa Belvedere Hotel Taormina is a delightful, charming hotel situated at just five minutes walk from Taormina town centre and from the Greek-Roman Theatre. Hotel Villa Belvedere, built at the end of the 19th century, was opened to guests in 1902. One of the first hotels in Taormina. It still belongs to the Bambara – Pécaut family.
Over the years the hotel, although several times discreetly restored, has always retained the elegant fascination of its period. This welcoming, typically traditional Sicilian villa with its yellow ochre facade, is situated in the quietest and greenest area of Taormina but the busy, historic centre and the ruins of the famous Greek theatre are reachable in just a few minutes on foot, by passing through delightful Public Botanic Gardens.
The Villa Belvedere Hotel is ideal if you are looking for an enchanting and relaxing oasis, surrounded by a luxuriant garden with tall palm trees, rambling bougainvillea and jasmine, colourful hibiscus shrubs, lemon and orange trees and flowers always in bloom.
At open-air lunch-time bar-restaurant beside the lovely pool, you can choose from an appetizing buffet and an ample à la carte menu.
Rooms are elegantly furnished with warm soft colours and offer every comfort, including free wi-fi. Most rooms have a “ Juliet” style balcony or a fully equipped sun-terrace overlooking the sea and the gardens.
