The park features 2 walking trails from which you’ll be able to observe the local plants and animals. Birdwatching in the park has been a popular hobby for locals ever since it became part of the Natura 2000 Network.

Right beside the Ria Formosa Natural Park you will find the pristine, white sands of Quinta do Lago beach. This 3km beach is only accessible through the resort, giving it an air of seclusion. The beach has been recognised by the EU for its high standards of water quality and safety, and awarded an elusive Blue Flag.
