Many of the islands beaches boast a blue flag, which is detriment to the unparalleled water quality, environmental management and safety services. Couples can explore the secluded, private bays and sandy inlets. Whilst families will appreciate the selection of welcoming beaches, many of which operate a lifeguard facility. This means there is something for everyone on a Fuerteventura Holiday.

Located in the Atlantic Ocean, Fuerteventura enjoys a mild climate which is very similar to that of Florida and Mexico, as they are all located on the same latitude making a Fuerteventura Holiday perfect all year round. Fuerteventura is a well-established tourist destination, and as such offers plenty to see and do for visitors of all ages and tastes. Tourists looking to take in some of the culture on this picturesque island will enjoy the selection of museums and archaeological discoveries as well as traditional villages and heritage sites showcasing the islands 20 million year history.

Visitors looking for a bit more excitement during their stay will enjoy the vast selection of daily excursions, particularly the choice of water based entertainment including boat trips, dolphin spotting, sailing, motor boating, SCUBA diving, snorkelling and deep sea fishing. Guests can also opt to venture out and explore the island using Fuerteventura’s cheap and reliable public transport. Or catch a ferry to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote.

With so much to see and do throughout the day, it is no surprise that there is also plenty going on in the evenings with bars, restaurants and entertainment venues. Sitauted on the northerly tip, Corralejo is surrounded by desert like sand dunes & golden sandy beaches. Once a a small fishing village, Corralejo has retained its quiet relaxing atmophere although it has developed into the largest resort on Fuerteventura. Flag beach is great for water sports, its located just south of the town centre and is a huge 10km stretch of white sand. " Town Beach ", as it is also known, is particular popularwith families due to its sheltered waters & abundance of facilites in close proximity. There are quite a few Irish bars in Corralejo and its possible to find live music most nights of the week. Most of the shops, bars and restaurants are located along the main street. Nightly entertainment is varied enough to suite most tastes with a couple of discos for the night owls out there.

Caleta de Fuste
About 10 km south of the sirport half way along the eastern coast lies Coleta de Fuste, also know as Castillo. Its is one of the most popular tourist towns on the island and has the benefit of a short airport transfer. it is a modern resort built around a bay and particularly popular with families. The first beach that was created was designed as a large horse shoe shaped bay. It is mostly sheltered from the waves and shelves gently into the sea making it particularly child friendly. Several new smaller beaches were created afterwards so you wont be short of a sunbathing spot. the nightlife is pretty varied with plenty of bars offering all kinds of entertainment, from live music to karaoke and a wide variety of restaurants.
