• Bioparc Fuengirola: The Bioparc Fuengirola is probably going to be different from any zoo you have ever seen before! The keepers here have spared no expense to recreate the tropical forest settings that the endangered animals under their care would ideally be in. In this park alone you can journey through the jungles of Madagascar, Equatorial Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Indo Pacific islands to see crocodiles, chimpanzees, and more!


• Sohail Castle: Step into the world of Game of Thrones or the Chronicles of Narnia with a visit to Sohail Castle in Fuengirola! This medieval fortress dates from 956 AD, when it was built by order of Abd-ar-Rahman III, the then Prince of Iberia. This coastal defence has been remarkably well preserved, and today hosts concerts, festivals, and thousands of tourists every year!


• Aquamijas: A trip to Aquamijas is the perfect way to cool down after a few days in the scorching sun of Fuengirola. The park has excellent facilities, including snack kiosks, shops, sun loungers, lockers, dressing rooms, and even free parking! In terms of entertainment you won’t be disappointed as Aquamijas has a wonderful range of attractions, including a jacuzzi, wave pool, slides, rapids, and a kids play area.

Beaches

What better way to make the most of Fuengirola’s fabulous weather than by visiting the resort’s famed 8 km stretch of sand? This area can be divided into several sections, from which seven main beaches emerge. All of these different sections are served by the Paseo Marítimo Rey de España, on which you’ll find a great collection of beach bars, restaurants, and shops!
