• Playa de Mogán:

Life in Mogán is centred around the ocean, with the most notable example of this (besides the bustling marina) being the popularity of the gorgeous Playa de Mogán. Stone breakwaters take the brunt of the waves, leaving a protected area for people to swim.



• Mirador de Puerto de Mogán:

If you want to visit one of the best lookouts in Gran Canaria, you’re going to have to work for it! The Mirador de Puerto de Mogán can only be reached by climbing 200 steep steps up the mountainside. While a workout may not have originally been on your holiday relaxation plan, the view of the marina and beach from above is sure to be worth it!



• Cañada de los Gatos:

In a glen only a short walk away from Puerto de Mogán’s beach and marina are the remains of a 1000 year old, yet remarkably well preserved, indigenous settlement. The stone houses in the village, known as La Casa de Las Siete Esquinas, once belonged to the island’s natives before the island was even considered a part of Spain! This archaeological zone is open from Tuesday to Sunday every week, with guided tours available upon request.

There are two public bus companies in Gran Canaria, Global and Guaguas Municipales.
