Beaches

As Los Cristianos is located on the south coast of Tenerife, this resort receives more than its fair share of sunshine every year! The resort has two main beaches; Playa de los Cristianos and Playa de las Vistas. Both are large with white sand, calm waters, and offer a wide range of facilities.

Playa de los Cristianos is perhaps the more popular of the two, as its sheltered location (protected by its harbour) makes it more appealing to families with young children, and those hoping to engage in swimming, snorkeling, or sailing. The beach also has a collection of open-air bars and restaurants, a children’s playground, and shower/loo facilities right on the beach!

Attractions

• Monkey Park: The Monkey Park in Los Cristianos is actually a breeding centre for endangered species of primates. Visitors can actually walk through the animal’s cages, and have the opportunity to feed the monkeys, parrots, lemurs, and turtles!


• Siam Park: Only a short distance away from Los Cristianos is Siam Park, the frequently rated #1 waterpark worldwide on TripAdvisor.com. Tickets into the park are available to order online, though evidence may be needed to verify a child’s age. The park’s rides are divided into three categories: ‘Relax’, ‘Family’, and ‘Adrenaline’.
